Silence (b. 604 BC) LAO TZU (LI ER)

Lao tzu is the honorary name of the greatest Chinese thinker Li Er (Li Boyan, Lao Dan), the founder of Taoism.Taoism is a religion based on the doctrine of "tao" – the way to achieve harmony. Tao is the beginning of everything and its main rule is to follow one's destiny (the "flow of life") without resistance. "Silence" Lao Tzu liked to walk in the morning, and a neighbor accompanied him in his walks. The neighbor was well aware that Lao Tzu did not like to talk much and they always kept silent. But one day a friend who was staying with a neighbor also wanted to go for a walk. They went out, and the morning was so beautiful and so quiet that the guest could not resist and said: — How wonderful!
